The AI series instruments offer excellent measurement and control performance, making them especially suitable for use in high-performance SCR electric furnace temperature control cabinets. Their modular design also brings added convenience to the design of furnace control cabinets. For example, its output can be paired with SCR trigger modules featuring a “burn-proof” characteristic. These modules can directly trigger various single-phase and bidirectional SCRs or power modules using time-proportional zero-crossing, cycle zero-crossing, or phase-shift methods. This eliminates the need for separate SCR cycle controllers or phase-shift controllers, reducing costs, simplifying installation, and improving reliability.
The alarm output can be configured with either relay contact switches or SCR contactless switches. In the event of an over-temperature alarm, these outputs control the AC contactor to cut off the heater power supply. This design ensures electric furnace safety even if the SCR is damaged. The optional RS485 communication interface allows for easy connection and operation with a computer. Compared to electric furnace control cabinets with similar functions, the AI series features simpler wiring and a modular structure, making maintenance and functional expansion highly convenient.
With many years of rich experience in the design and manufacturing of SCR electric furnace control cabinets, Yudian offers single-phase models ranging from 15A to 100A and three-phase models from 25A to 500A. Stock is available for single-phase 15A, 25A, 40A and three-phase 25A, 55A models, while 55A to 500A units can be customized. Typical control accuracy ranges from ±0.1℃ to ±0.5℃. In addition, temperature control cabinets specially designed for crystal growth are also offered. These have been specially optimized and improved, with a usable temperature range of 0–1100℃ (using S-type thermocouples), control accuracy of ±0.1℃, and temperature drift of less than ±0.2℃ when ambient temperature variation is within ±0.5℃. They provide high precision and excellent stability. Since 1996, over 20,000 control cabinets have been sold, with a cumulative repair rate of less than 0.3% for the SCRs or instruments.
1.The housing is made of cold-rolled steel plate with precision stamping and is surface-treated with powder coating, offering an attractive and lightweight design.
2. Zero-cross triggering or phase-shift triggering methods are optional; when zero-cross triggering is used, high-frequency interference to the power grid is minimal.

5. Unless otherwise specified by the customer, all power modules use IXYS products from Germany, except for the single-phase 15A SCR, which uses a 40A bidirectional SCR from STMicroelectronics. AC contactors, air switchs, thermal relays, indicator lights, and push-button switches are all supplied by Schneider Electric (TE) in Shanghai.
